Everyone loves a sale, but let\u2019s be honest \u2013 they\u2019re rather overwhelming. With so many options suddenly in your price range, it can be hard to think clearly and shop amongst the crowds.\u00a0So, to help you out, we\u2019ve compiled a list of do\u2019s and don\u2019ts to help you through your sale shopping next\u00a0Monday\u00a0and beyond.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Do: Plan Ahead.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Make a list, or bookmark what you want, so that you\u2019re prepared when the sale starts. That way you\u2019ll be able to keep your eyes peeled for the perfect handbag, without getting too distracted.<\/p>\n

2. Do: Get in Early<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our summer sale starts Monday June 29th at 9:30am.\u00a0The earlier the better in order to get first\u00a0pick of our key pieces.<\/p>\n

3. Don’t: Go\u00a0with Small Children<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go sale shopping with children. Well, definitely not small children anyway. They will ruin it for you by: telling you they need a snack\/drink at 10 minute intervals\u00a0(anything to gain your attention),\u00a0hiding among racks of clothes\u00a0or\u00a0by giving you a heart attack when you can’t see them.<\/p>\n

4. Do:\u00a0Keep yourself hands free<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Keep your hands free by wearing a cross body bag to store your essentials, and keep any heavy items such as umbrellas etc at home. Your hands and arms will thank you for it and you’ll be able to rummage without worrying about your belongings.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Do: Dress for some Serious Shopping<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you’re braving it and going in for the long haul, kit yourself out \u2013 in fact, get your military head on. Wear comfortable\u00a0shoes and a lightweight clothing that you won’t mind putting on and taking off, over and over again.<\/p>\n

6. Do: Allow Time to Shop<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothings worse than rushing around the store and having to leave when seeing the queue to check out. Allow plenty of time to\u00a0browse what’s on offer and enjoy the sale without any distractions.<\/p>\n

7. Do: Bring a Calculator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Have a small calculator with you for any percentage discount workings. We know it’s old fashioned but chances are, if you pull out the phone to use the calculator on it, the phone will ring!<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0Don’t: Stress<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stay cool. Busy shops can leave you feeling more stressed than an important work deadline. This is the last thing you want so take a few deep breaths, count to ten and remember, it will be all worth it once you come across that item you’ve been thinking about all summer. Only now, it’s reduced to half the original price. YAY!<\/p>\n

9) Do: Be Decisive<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If in doubt pick it up and hold onto it! You can spend time deciding while you are walking around the shop looking at other things, or even in the queue – but you don’t want to left disappointed when the shopper next to you takes advantage of your dithering. You will only kick yourself if you miss out.<\/span><\/p>\n

10) Do: Bring a Friend<\/strong><\/p>\n

We recommend bringing along a friend when you’re hitting the sales. Not only will you be able to provide each other with opinions on what works and what doesn’t, \u00a0you can catch up and grab a coffee later.<\/p>\n
