Our new collection from Royal Doulton, takes influence from London based Charlene Mullen’s illustrations featured in her most widely recognized “blackwork” and “scenic” embroidered textiles.
The core dinnerware collection features soft geometric repeat of the “Foulard Star”. The striking hand drawn pattern of this Foulard Star Teacup and saucer offers a subtle yet stunning design with Charlene’s unique signature accent of red featuring on each piece.
The impressive dining collection features teacups, espresso cups, mugs and plates. The gift boxed set of four mugs feature four different accent patterns with Charlene’s striking hand drawn designs. In addition each mug features a hidden little ‘secret’ silhouette of a fox, swan, cockerel or bird in Charlene’s signature colour red.
Another favourite of ours is the Fable Collection, London designer Karolin Schnoor collaborated with the master artisans of Royal Doulton to create the stunning Fable collection; characterized by versatility and a clean, contemporary look. Karolin Schnoor’s vibrant illustrations draw on her passion for bold colours and clean lines, and are heavily influenced by the folk art she remembers from children’s books. That charmingly naïve quality shines through in her work. This set of four plates features modern, playful shapes and crisp, colorful motifs; perfect for layering with other colourful pieces from the pattern.
