Ideal Home Show 2019 with Maria Fenlon Interiors

Nov. 05, 2019

Each year the Ideal Home Show is a highlight in the calendar and this year we were delighted to showcase our 2019 stand, styled by Interior Designer Maria Fenlon at the event.

Maria is a highly accomplished designer with an inspiring passion for interiors so it was no surprise that her vision for the showcase wowed us from the very beginning!

From modern neutrals to natural, exposed textures Maria’s ideas blended together seamlessly to create a beautiful, warm, contemporary space that we absolutely adore.

The combination of materials and colours were expertly chosen to create a really stylish, welcoming space that could be both relaxing and functional.

This open-plan space showcases how to effectively design and plan living/dining room spaces to make the very most of them. From layout to décor the flow between the two different areas is beautifully achieved through the complementary colours, and soft yet industrial touches that elevate the space, giving it that designer style.

We simply love the way Maria has mixed dining chairs to work with the Scandi style Shoreditch table. Instead of opting for a matching set, Maria selected very different but complementary shapes and styles of dining chairs to create a stunning dining room look.

We can’t help but admire the careful selection of materials chosen for this project. From leather and untreated wood to wool and ceramics each piece adds to the overall space, showcasing the benefit of considering materials and texture as well as colour when designing your home.

Thanks to Maria Fenlon for her wonderful work!
