We’re still feeling the summer vibes and not ready to surrender our Al Fresco evenings just yet but there are some late Summer trends emerging that we can’t help getting excited about. Invest in some key trends now to set the tone for a very stylish Autumn!
Dark Wood Tones
We’ve seen lots of beautiful walnut, ash and bamboo wood finishes for Summer 2019 but black wood furniture is making an appearance and we love it. Ebony, of course, is the darkest natural wood but opting for painted furniture gives that opulent effect without the price tag.
Our classic Bentwood chairs wouldn’t look out of place outside a Parisian café – they are elegant yet totally understated making them a winner in our books!

Indoor Oasis
There’s nothing better than chilling out in a spot in the garden with a good book and your tipple of choice. There’s no TV, no distractions – just space for relaxation. So why not recreate this little piece of heaven inside as we move into next season? Find a nook or a corner in any room and make it beautiful! You don’t need much – a little table, a comfy chair and some gorgeous greenery!

It might just be a corner of the kitchen but wherever it is, you won’t regret creating an indoor oasis to keep a little bit of summer all year round.
Warm Colours
We all love a cool grey or classic white wall but a rich, vibrant colour can warm up your home and create a really welcoming atmosphere as we begin to retreat back indoors. Take inspiration from your holiday destinations like Spain or Italy and introduce warm terracotta colours, vibrant colour tiles and colourful cushions and throws. It’s worth taking the time to add that fresh coat of paint now while you can take advantage of the long evenings to air the house. Playing with finishes can also transform your home, adding depth and interest to your space. For example, colour washing or rag rolling techniques can give a touch of authentic old-world charm to a room.

Year-Round Rattan
Rattan textures are more often than not associated with summertime but it is a wonderful material that works just as well indoors as out. For year-round rattan, choose pieces that have mixed materials, like rattan and wood or leather.

Ocean Hues
Summer means time by the sea so capture that sense of coastal calm all year round with beautiful sea blues and greens in your homewares and décor. Our new ombre effect dinner sets have dreamy designs and stunning colours that will enhance your tabletop every day.
